Field Service Technician

All U.S. Branches

Responsibilities Include:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate or replace faulty hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic equipment in an offshore environment
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly inspections of offshore equipment
  • Participate in training programs

Requirements Include:

  • Minimum three years experience in maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical equipment

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of diagnostic and testing tools used in the trade
  • Knowledge of original equipment manufacturers' technical manuals and specifications and the ability to read and interpret electrical and instrument circuitry
  • Capable of understanding and interpreting equipment performance and instrument data and drawings
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • Able to receive and give direction
  • Must be willing to transport by boat or helicopter to offshore facilities

Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.

Crane Operator

New Iberia, LA

Responsibilities Include:

  • Service, Rig-up and Rig-Down, Operate marine cranes at Seatrax and customer sites

Requirements Include:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in the oil field as a crane operator is required

Key Skills:

  • Perform the necessary duties to complete a proper installation, inspection or maintenance on a marine crane
  • Ability to work at heights and climb ladders
  • Must be physically fit and capable of lifting 50 pounds as well as stand on feet for up to 12 hours a day
  • If short service employee, abide by mentor; if mentor, train and supervise the assigned short service employee
  • Accurately complete a job summary, job safety analysis, stop observation cards, and an expense form for every job
  • Comply with Seatrax’s as well as the client’s safety program
  • Complete the necessary training in order to improve skills and comply with regulations
